Documentary produced in Guangdong Province, China

Deep in the mountains of southern China, an elderly Yao woman tries to teach her granddaughter the art of embroidery. Without a written language, the Yao people have used embroidery to share and preserve their stories for thousands of years. As urban life and modern technology draw the younger generation away, these stories are quietly disappearing.
