A documentary produced in 2023 in Mexico in collaboration with the NGO Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Espérame follows the lives of three migrants as they cross Mexico, from the deep south to the U.S. border. Along the way, they encounter cartel violence and a merciless journey, but also people, and the unexpected love that is sometimes the only reason to keep going.
